Day 1 / 9 May Saturday / Antalya
Arrive to Antalya. Meet at the
airport and transfer to Dogan Hotel. Dogan Hotel is located in the old town of
Antalya which is a nicely renovated old Turkish House. Dinner and overnight at
Dogan Hotel. (D)
Day 2
/10 May Sunday / Konya
Get the jeeps
in the morning and drive to Kargihan, an old Seljuk Caravanserai, visit the
monument than continue through the old caravan trail that passes through a very
remote part of the
countryside to Baslar Han. This part of the route between
Kargi to Baslar Han is one of the most exiting part of the medieval caravan
route where all the goods including silk comes from China in Anatolia. Picnic
lunch will be in a very scenic part of the route at the end of this trail than
continue to Beysehir and take the 89 km main road to Konya. Dinner and overnight

Day 3 /
11 May Monday / Cappadocia
Before we
leave the hotel, an optional visit to Mevlana Museum will be available in Konya.
We will drive through Aksaray to Melendiz Mountain. First we will cross Mt.
Melendiz and than Mt. Hassan, both are very impressive and scenic volcanoes. Mt.
Hassan is the second tallest mountain in Central Anatolia with 3268 meters above
the sea level. It is also the first depicted mountain in the history of man; on
a wall at Catalhoyuk, shown during an eruption at 5800 BC. After we will arrive
to Ihlara, a very scenic and interesting Canyon where the Melendiz River runs in
the middle flanked by old houses and rock cut churches. We will have a nice
lunch in a local restaurant by Melendiz River. We will walk in the valley in the
afternoon and we will be able to see some of it is dwellings. Continue to Goreme
Kelebek Hotel for dinner and overnight. (B/D)
Day 4
/12 May Tuesday / Cappadocia
After we
leave hotel, we will drive about an hour to reach the sand dunes. Sand dunes of
Soganli are one of the most exiting off-road game areas. When we finish over the
sand dunes we will
pass and drive on a very nice track near by a reservoir lake
before Soganli.
Soganli
valley is a remote and unspoiled part of Cappadocia where people still preserves
the authentic life style. We will be able to interact with locals as we visit
the Soganli village. Lunch is in Soganli village in a nice small local
restaurant with local cheese and honey. Than next visit will be the spectacular
underground city of Kaymakli, which was cut out of volcanic tufa as deep as 300
feet during the period covering the sixth to the 10th centuries. It is possible
to descend through seven floor levels of the city by means of a labyrinth of
tunnels. After Kaymakli, continue to Goreme. Dinner and overnight Kelebek Cave
Suites. (B/D)
Day 5 /
13 May Wednesday /Cappadocia
Full day 4x4
tour including the most exclusive special off -road trails of Equinox – X-trip in
Cappadocia. Many remote areas and highest points of Cappadocia are included in
our itinerary for today. We will also stop at places as our guests would want to
see like the love valley. Dinner in Goreme and overnight Kelebek. (B/D)
Day 6 /
14 May Thursday / Aksaray
Today we will
walk in Rose Valley in the morning. This is a two hours easy walk down through a
very exiting and scenic part of Cappadocia which ends in Cavusin Village also
have fantastic view where we can extend our walk if the time permits. Lunch will
be in Avanos, where we can visit an authentic pottery workshop as well. After a
short visit to Bagli Valley, we will continue to Aksaray. Dinner and overnight
Aksaray Agacli Hotel. (B/D)
Day 7 /
15 May Friday / Koprulu Canyon National Park - Antalya
We will leave
the hotel around 07:00 and drive straight to Beysehir. After 4 hours drive to
Beysehir we will continue to Derebucak. After our lunch in Derebucak we will
cross the old Roman road 4x4 to Koprulu Canyon National Park and drive for
rafting. The Koprulu Canyon National Park is within the boundaries of Manavgat.
It is a 14 Km. long and 100 m. wide valley between Bulasan village and Beskonak
and one of the greatest canyon’s of the world. It is
thickly covered in cypress, walnut and pine trees and it resembles to the "fairy
chimneys" of Cappadocia, albeit in the from of nature, is striking. The ancient
stone bridge straddling the Kopru stream is still in use today.
After rafting
we will drive to Antalya Dogan Hotel. Dinner and overnight Antalya. (B/D)
Day 8 /
16 May Saturday / Departure
Transfer to the airport for
flight back home. (B)
